The Finals - Embark Addressing Cheaters. Dev Updates: 2.6 Patch, Vehicles & More
We'll go over some last-minute mentionables. Here one of these first up is, if you've ever seen on the scoreboard this little world logo, that is actually representative. Of people playing on different platforms, have you ever seen that just means you have crossplay turned on? If people are confused on that, I've never really seen this, especially being a Steam user.
However, if you do see this, it means that people are playing crossplay and you're actually with people on a different system or they're on a different platform. It's a pretty cool little minor detail there; they don't have any specifics for that, so it looks like they just have the Steam logo and then the world logo or the world icon.
Sometimes games show a keyboard or a mouse, and sometimes they represent a little gaming pad or a controller. However, in this case, if they're just on a different platform, you'll just see that the world logo also lasts up here for some of the community's wants and desires. Since the mega threat here, we've had a lot of people wanting them to buff some of the weaker stuff.
I definitely agree that they should be buffing stuff now instead of nerfing things. They should probably make the dynamic better for that balance. Just bring some of that fun back, as people are kind of pertaining that the balance is a bit stale at the moment. As someone pointed out here in my last article, they think that embarcation is kind of experimental.
Stage with the finals, it seems like they're trying to change around game mode and mechanics as they kind of see what's going on there, at least with the community concerns, and then, of course, as we've had with a lot, there was the ranked concern and the transparency on ranked ELO, where people really liked what happened with season 1, but now with season 2, they kind of hide all of that.
I think people really want that back, and I hope they do somewhat bring some of that stuff back. We'll have to wait and see what they do for season 3. I assume they're taking a lot of that feedback in general. That should be covered for today's article.
